WEG has just achieved an important international recognition: for the first time, it has been included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, which brings together companies with the best sustainability performance in their respective sectors.

The Sustainability Yearbook is an annual listing that features organizations with the highest ESG ratings in each sector. WEG is part of the ELQ sector (Electrical Components & Equipment), alongside major global companies, ranking among the top-performing organizations in sustainability at the international level.

This achievement reflects the concrete evolution of the company’s ESG agenda, demonstrating the strength of its strategy to integrate sustainability into corporate processes, strengthen governance policies, improve environmental indicators, and expand social initiatives.

This year, more than 9,200 companies assessed in the CSA 2025 were considered for the Sustainability Yearbook 2026, and only 848 companies, across 59 sectors, were selected among the top-performing organizations to be included in the publication.

WEG’s presence in the 2026 edition of the Sustainability Yearbook highlights the maturity and consistency of our ESG strategy. This recognition also demonstrates the credibility of the information we report, assessed by an independent and internationally recognized institution,” says Daniel Marteleto Godinho, Vice President of Sustainability and Corporate Affairs.

The inclusion in the Sustainability Yearbook 2026 reinforces that WEG continues to advance in a solid and consistent manner, aligned with global sustainability best practices, demonstrating that the adopted strategy is on the right path, reflecting continuous progress in ESG topics.
